Day 3 – Drink a big glass of water before your morning tea or coffee
Why – No other reason except for rehydration after a long period of not drinking! It’s a great habit to create.
The common misconception is that water is the most hydrating drink! This is not true. Skim milk has the right amount of sodium in it to hold the water for longer in our body meaning we urinate less keeping us hydrated for longer. Cool eh! Although I wouldn’t recommend guzzling gallons of milk all day if you have fat loss goals. If water isn’t doing it for you then consider electrolyte drinks.
Electrolytes are chemicals that conduct electricity when mixed with water. They regulate nerve and muscle function, hydrate the body, balance blood acidity and pressure, and help rebuild damaged tissue.
It doesn’t just have to be water. Lots of options that all count towards your daily amount.
