I hear this over and over again in my clinic. NO TIME! I am calling bull shit on it.
We make time for the things we want to do. If you want to see and feel changes you have to make time for them, it’s a non-negotiable.
We make time for work because we are paid to be there for a certain amount of hours per week.
Should we then view our health the same way? Shouldn’t our health be a non-negotiable like going to work? After all if we don’t have our health we wouldn’t be able to work wouldn’t be able to be the parent we want to be, the partner or even the friend we want to be.
If being healthier this year is something you want then make it a non-negotiable, don’t say you don’t have time! If you are saying you don’t have time then you are choosing something else over your health goal, own it!
Have realistic expectations, you will not see a change in a day, maybe not even a week but you will feel one. Keeping trying each day. Make the time and enjoy it. Being and feeling healthier is not a punishment it’s a way of life and it’s a really nice place to be 😊
