These healthy habits I harp on about, they are the foundation of how we need to be living our lives. They are not just for an 8-week challenge or some diet. When a diet comes to the end so does the healthy habits you have built.

I am not saying we always need to track everything, god no! But knowing what you need to do in the long run to keep with your health goal is crucial.

That’s why we have to try find enjoyment in the process, find a way that doesn’t feel like a diet.

We will always need to stay hydrated

We will always need to eat fruit and veg

We will always need to be active

We will always need to get enough sleep

We will always need to ensure we are eating enough protein and fueling ourselves

We will always need to keep stress at bay where we can

We will always need to moderate alcohol

They are all basic health habits.

You get them right; chances are you won’t even need to diet.
